Many law students are eager to use their skills after graduation, but they often miss a meaningful opportunity to help those in need of legal services, which can have a positive impact on their own work by business. In my case, I spent my first few months after graduation as a volunteer lawyer with various nonprofit organizations, including the Maryland Volunteer Lawyer Service (MVLS). While I was originally looking for a pro bono service to help underserved communities, I quickly found that my service was valuable for my personal development, my professional development and the company I am employed in as a consultant. corporate legal.
